Ghati Subramanya Temple Timings

Ghati Subramanya temple is a famous Ghati Subramanya Temple down south located in the rural district of Bangalore.  The temple is famous because of the Naga Kshetra. Thousands of devotees come here daily to offer their prayer to Lord Subramanya and pour milk on the anthill which is located  just opposite to the temple. People from all over the country visit this place to offer their prayer to the lord.
Not just for the sake of offering puja but the temple has a long history associated with it.  The Ghati Subramanya Temple was built 600 years ago by King Ghorpade from the Sandur Dynasty.  There is a myth which says that god appeared in his dreams and revealed about his existence.  Thereafter the king along with the villagers has made the idol of the lord.


Ghati Subramanya Temple timing is one such thing which is very important to discuss. Here are the Ghati Subramanya temple timings– The doors of the temple open at 6:30 in the morning and get closed by 9 at night. The pujas can be offered during this time.
During this interval an arti gets performed known as Abhishekam between 8:30 am to 9am. One cannot do any advance booking for this but have to come early and wait in the line to watch the activity which is huge and extravagant.

Thirunallar Temple Timings

All this  pujas mentioned  above takes place on Saturday on daily basis within the mentioned  Thirunallar Temple Timings .   Apart from those,  two other services also occur, which is called Nadai Thirappu. It takes place from Sunday to Friday from 0600 hrs to 1300 hrs on regular basis. In this service pilgrims are allowed to take part. Every year a lot of people comes from various part of India to this temple. Usha Kalaam the first puja of the day is done 05:30 hrs to 06:30 hrs. Kala Sandhi the second puja of the day is done 09:00 hrs to 10:00 hrs. Uchi Kaalam is  done between 12:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.  Saayaratchai the fourth puja of the day is done 17:30 hrs to 18:30 hrs.  Irandaam Kaalam is done19:30 hrs to 20:30 hrs.  Artha Jaanam is the sixth puja of the day is done  20:30 hrs onwards.
