Ghati Subramanya Temple Timings

Ghati Subramanya temple is a famous Ghati Subramanya Temple down south located in the rural district of Bangalore.  The temple is famous because of the Naga Kshetra. Thousands of devotees come here daily to offer their prayer to Lord Subramanya and pour milk on the anthill which is located  just opposite to the temple. People from all over the country visit this place to offer their prayer to the lord.
Not just for the sake of offering puja but the temple has a long history associated with it.  The Ghati Subramanya Temple was built 600 years ago by King Ghorpade from the Sandur Dynasty.  There is a myth which says that god appeared in his dreams and revealed about his existence.  Thereafter the king along with the villagers has made the idol of the lord.

Ghati Subramanya temple timings– The doors of the temple open at 6:30 in the morning and get closed by 9 at night. The pujas can be offered during this time.
During this interval an arti gets performed known as Abhishekam between 8:30 am to 9am. One cannot do any advance booking for this but have to come early and wait in the line to watch the activity which is huge and extravagant.
